Getting a guitar from Rich Robinson!
I’m super excited! I recently purchased a Fender Custom Shop 60’s Relic Stratocaster that was owned and played by none other than one of the greatest musicians of our time, the one and only Rich Robinson. My guitar is scheduled to arrive on Tuesday June 19 and I can hardly stand the anticipation. I’m already wishing my weekend away, and Monday as well but don’t we all wish those away?
How did I get my hands on this awesome guitar? I happened upon an auction being managed by Richard Byrd. Rich Robinson has partnered with Richard to personally manage getting items such as this into the hands of Rich’s real fans. To quote Richard:
“Rich Robinson has graciously agreed to part with a few select items that are significant to the legacy of The Black Crowes and his solo projects. This one-of-kind item comes direct from Rich’s warehouse. You can own a piece of music history from one of the greatest guitarists in the industry.”
Richard is a fan himself and has been really cool in making sure that this has been such an awesome buying experience.
If you want to get your hands on your own piece of music history. I urge you to contact Richard via email at rrobinsoncellection@gmail.com or watch for the auctions on eBay (his seller name is “atlanta!”).
Until it actually arrives and I can take some of my own pics of it the following will have to suffice. Hopefully when Rich goes on tour again I can take it with me to one of his shows and get pic of both of us with the guitar.
